Hull Sections
©2002
The
custom hull sections listed in the Naval Architect’s
Manual have no “end caps.”
They are open-ended cylinders.
The amount of material listed on the table is
sufficient to cover the hull with a thickness of 2cm,
which gives the following armor values for Star Cruiser
Armor Factor 0:

Each
Star Cruiser Armor Factor equals AV24, which means that
ships built with Advanced Composites will always have an
armor factor of at least 1, and armored canon starships
will have armor values of multiples of 24.
Of course ships designed with these rules may
have any armor value.
