Early combat tripods were woefully under-gunned compared to the various
other vehicles lumbering over the 19th century battlefield, and what little
firepower they had was insufficient for use against infantry. In their
frustration, many an enterprising tripod commander lashed out at the enemy in
the only way left to him — he walked all over them.

Procedure Roll 1D6 for each enemy figure along the
path of the tripod’s move. On a roll of 6, the figure is potentially stomped —
it needs to make a saving throw equal to its field craft or less on 1D6 to avoid
a nasty fate. If the save is made, the figure survives, but the unit still takes
one hit for morale purposes.
