Notes
The G11K2 was
proposed as a replacement for the German Army's G3
combat rifle, and was put in production in 1989.
However, political and budgetary considerations
killed adoption of the weapon.
Up to three loaded magazines can be
carried atop the receiver (from which they feed it).
This gives the weapon an effective magazine capacity
of 135 rounds.
THE GUN THAT NEVER WAS: Heckler & Koch G11
This weapon was rated, not designed, using Fire,
Fusion & Steel. |
