Androids (TL 10)

Androids are artificially-created biological beings.  They have attributes and skills like any other character.  Androids cost §10,000 for each attribute point of Strength, Agility, and Constitution.  Each point of Intelligence and Education costs §25,000 and each point of Charisma costs §15,000.  At TL 17, androids with Empathic abilities can be constructed.  Each point of Empathic ability costs §50,000.  Additional cybernetic enhancements can be included during the growing of the android.  However, if the limbs are being replaced with cybernetic limbs, the builder must pay the price for Strength, Agility and Constitution 6 before the enhancements are purchased.

Skills can be purchased in a manner similar to that for robots.  The price of each skill, however, is twice that for robots, but there are no limitations on the skills the android can have.  If Empathic skills are purchased, they cost four times the price of skills for robots.

At tech level 10 it takes one year to grow the android from the time the specifications are issued.  At TL 11 this is reduced to 6 months, and at TL 12 this is further reduced to 1 month.

Memories can be transferred to androids in a manner similar to that described under Clones.

Clones (TL 9)

Clones are reproductions of existing beings.  Clones are available at TL 9 for §1 million.  However, at that tech level the clone ages normally and it can take years for the clone to mature.  At TL 10, the clone's growth can be doubled until a specific age is reached.  At TL 12 it doubles again; as it does at TL 13 (growth times 8) and 14 (growth times 16).

Clones can have skills purchased for them in the same manner as androids, or, for normal growth-rate clones, they can be trained in more traditional manners.

Memory transfer is possible beginning at TL 16, but it is fairly crude at this level.  This becomes more refined at TL 18, but is still only capable of transferring partial memories.  At TL 20, however, complete memory transfer is possible.  At all tech levels this costs §1 million.

Replacement Parts (TL 9)

Limbs can be regenerated beginning at TL 9.  This is an expensive, lengthy and painful process (§100,000 and one year per limb).  At TL 13, replacement parts for any organ or limb can be cloned and rapidly grown for quick replacement.  It's still fairly expensive at §100,000 per replacement part, but the part can be available in a week.
