The lasers here have been designed using the Laser
Design Sequence from Fire, Fusion & Steel.
Unfortunately, no amount of tweaking or
double-checking has allowed the recreation of the
published designs. All weapons herein are
therefore original designs. Purists may
discard these as they see fit; however the weapons
are compatible with GDW's House Rules, and
honestly, who can say they got it right to begin
with?
Note on DEI Lasers: The
weapon card has a line for the weapon itself, a
line for its back/belt pack and a line for its
vehicle power pack. The latter consists of
the HPG and the part of the weapon's cooling
system that would normally go into the backpack.
The battery and back/belt pack casing are
eliminated and the magazine capacity effectively
becomes unlimited. |
