Description
The epitome
of the "Buffalo Rifle," the Sharps Model 1874 was
chambered for a number of different rounds. This
version fired the .50-90 cartridge.
Note:
The maximum calculated barrel length for this
ammunition is 27.6 cm. To achieve the historical
overall length of this weapon, the barrel was
increased to 78 cm. However, all calculations for
muzzle energy, damage, range and recoil were
generated using the 27.6 cm value. |
