Description
The rod gun is the
most technologically-advanced native Martian artillery
piece. It is a rifled muzzle-loader that fires
an iron bar, or rod, for superior range and penetration.
Like all Martian weapons, each rod
gun is hand-made. However, all the city-states and polities in
the range of Seldon's former empire (and some regions beyond) build
these weapons to the same standard to make the logistics of the use
of captured or purchased weaponry simpler.
