Description
Larger than a city bus, the
10-ton wheeled ATV is intended for exploration.
However, because of its armor, range and payload it
has found favor with a number of mid-tech mercenary
units. It has 8 half bunks, meaning it can carry a
squad of soldiers in relative comfort.
Air-tight bulkheads (with
doors) separate the forward driving compartment from
the middle living compartment and the aft cargo
compartment. Both the driving and cargo
compartments can be used as impromptu airlocks.
There are four entrances to
this vehicle: a front ramp which extends down from
between the two front seats; a rear ramp; a central
airlock; and a dorsal hatch. The vehicle is fully
amphibious.
Armed models
typically mount an autogun, autocannon, or grenade
launcher on a ring mount on the dorsal hatch.
The Landmaster has 108 cubic meters of reserve
buoyancy and can take 108 flooding points per row. |
