Description
Picks, skeleton keys, torsion wrenches, shims. a
stethoscope, and other equipment to open all types of locks.
A lockpick set of a given Tech Level usually
cannot be used against locks of higher Tech Levels, but it may be
used against a lock of a higher Tech Level if it is equipped to deal
with that type of lock. For example, a TL 6 kit cannot be used
against electronic locks since these begin to appear at TL 7.
However, the same kit could be used against a TL 7 deadbolt lock,
albeit at a slight disadvantage; the difference in Tech Levels could
be used as a Diff Mod to the success roll.
