Description
The caster employing this spell is able to restore life and complete
strength to the person he or she bestows the resurrection upon. The
person can have been dead up to 20 years cumulative per power level
achieved by the caster. See
Raise Dead for
limitations on what persons can be raised. The material components
of the spell are a religious symbol and holy water. Employment of
this spell is very draining on the caster. He or she must spend a
day in bed per power level of success recuperating after casting.
Resurrection is a particularly gruesome process
as the tissue literally grows back during the process of casting.

Backlash
If, during casting, the spell-caster rolls a
Catastrophic Failure, the resurrectee immediately comes alive.
If this happens within the first nine minutes of casting, the
resurrectee dies screaming horribly, and anyone in the room with him
or her must make a Formidable
Sanity Check. If the Catastrophic Failure occurs during the last
minute of casting the resurrectee will survive, but will be in
constant pain for the rest of his life.

Background Notes
Finding a good translation of this spell is
extremely difficult (otherwise the world would be overrun with
resurrected dead). Depending upon the source of the spell, the
difficulty level can increase to Impossible or beyond.
