Description
A computer-controlled liquid crystal or
plasma display for a computer or entertainment system. Common uses
include cubicle walls (where they replace the wall, the computer monitor, and
bulletin board); or as wall coverings in residences and office buildings. A ship or
vehicle can be coated in liquid crystal display
tiles. They are linked together and
controlled by a small computer console. This
enables the operator to change the appearance of
the vehicle at the flick of a switch. A
number of standard patterns are stored in the
console but they are completely user-configurable.
Applications include camouflage, company logos,
advertising, and false ID.
The values to the right are per square meter of wall screen. |
