Haggard and worn, this lost European has barely survived after his expedition became lost weeks ago. He will be grateful for help and may reward the characters for taking him to a civilized outpost. Alternatively, his outpost could have just been overrun by hostile Lizard-men, and it may be imperative that he reach a telegraph or main outpost quickly to warn the military and other European inhabitants nearby. He could also be a survivor of a Zeppelin ether flyer crash or a shipwrecked trader.
