Description
[Dark Conspiracy]
It seems the golden age of science as savior never came. High technology
proved to be only as good as the people who wield it, and as often as
not, conflicts over the raw materials it required escalated into wars.
But people have to have hope. In the modem age of misery, they need more
than ever to have a shoulder to lean on and an ear that listens. And
they're willing to pay for the privilege. Some of those who step in to
fill the gap do so for a quick and easy profit. Others are
self-sacrificing saints.
