Background
The Daughters of Isis is one of the
oldest continuous witches' covens in existence, having been founded a few
centuries B.C. Originally, they were headquartered out of
Alexandria, Egypt. However, with the coming of Islam the coven moved
its base of operations into Europe, and then, sometime in the 18th century
to New Orleans, Louisiana. As the name suggests, the Daughters of
Isis are all female. The group has recently added its first
non-human to its ranks — a lizard-woman shaman from the
Scaleyville
settlement north of New Orleans.
The rise of
The
Order has alarmed the The Daughters of Isis. Recently, the
latter have managed to infiltrate a few of their members into
The
Order in an effort to divine that organization's intentions. |

Special Operations
The Daughters of Isis have little use
for mercenaries, although a group might be hired to locate and secure
certain items the Daughters need. Individual members may also hire
teams for various missions, though these missions may or may not be
sanctioned by the organization. |
|
|
Freelancers
The Daughters of Isis are members of
the organization for life, so there are technically no "former members"
available to freelance. However, the organization is very loose,
and individual members often pursue their own agendas. |
|
|
Character Generation
Only female characters can join the
Daughters of Isis, and then only those who are mystics. Otherwise,
members can be of any background.
